Voluntary Pre-K

We have received additional funding for children who are four by September 1, 2017!

With this new funding we are able to:

  • Provide programming AT NO COST TO FAMILIES.

  • Serve the following participating schools: Meadow Lake, Forest, Northport, Lakeview, Neill, Noble and Sonnesyn.

  • Serve children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2017.

  • Provide classes that meet five half-days each week for two hours and forty-five minutes.

    • The morning class will be served breakfast in the classroom.

    • The afternoon class will be served lunch in the classroom. 

  • Begin programming the week of September 18, 2017 for parent/children orientation. Classes and transportation will begin on September 25, 2017.  The last day of school will be June 6, 2017.
    Follow district procedures for students seeking open enrollment or school transfer.

Information needed to complete registration includes:

  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Child’s immunization record
  • Proof of residency for busing
  • Proof of child’s completed Early Childhood Screening

Register for Voluntary Pre-K at New Hope Learning Center or elementary school sites.

Important to Note:

  • Transportation is provided if you live outside of the schools walking boundary. It is a requirement that you live within the attendance area of the school that you are applying for. If your child will be coming from daycare, the daycare must also be located withing the same school boundaries as your residence.
