The Resource and Welcome Center supports the educational programming of Robbinsdale Area Schools by providing the following services:
Welcome Center
Enrollment services for all students new to the United States. Registrations services include:
♦ Proper completion of K-12 registration materials.
♦ Assessment for English Language Learning. ♦ Referrals to clinics for immunizations. ♦ Introduction to resources and support within the Robbinsdale Area Schools Community. ♦ All students enrolling through the center will receive starter school supplies. On-Site Basic Needs Assistance &
Community Resource Referral The Resource and Welcome Center offers on-site assistance with basic needs for families and individuals living within the district boundaries of Robbinsdale Area Schools. On-site basic needs assistance includes:
♦ Hennepin County Economic Assistance
♦ Medical
♦ Food Support Hennepin County on site assistance by appointment. Call 763-504-7680.
The Resource and Welcome Center also provides information and various resource referrals to all area residents based on family needs and location. This includes, but not limited to, employment, discounted transportation, housing, food, and clothing.
The Resource and Welcome Center is funded through Robbinsdale Area Schools' Community Education, Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Adult Academic Program, Program for English Language Learners and PRISM. |
