Vision 2030 Team Explores Facilities and Enrollment Scenarios

On July 29, the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team gathered at the Education Service Center (ESC) for its eighth meeting. The team—made up of students, families, staff, and community members—continued its work of shaping the district’s long-term roadmap by connecting academic programming priorities with facilities planning and enrollment needs.

Members reflected on academic recommendations shared at the previous meeting, reviewed updates to the Portrait of a Graduate, and considered how instructional priorities will influence future learning spaces.

The team then turned its focus to district size and facilities. Through guided discussions and activities, members examined enrollment projections, considered options for school configuration, and discussed potential scenarios for building use and closures. Small groups worked to establish guidelines and identify non-negotiables that must be honored in any future reconfiguration plan.

The meeting closed with teams sharing their recommendations, reinforcing their role as ambassadors of authentic community voice in the Reimagine Rdale process.

The Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 initiative is built around three key components: the Vision 2030 Team, a community engagement process, and a districtwide survey. The Vision 2030 Team, made up of community members, students, staff, and district leaders, will collaborate to develop a forward-thinking roadmap for Rdale.
