Early Learning

Beginning as early as birth, Robbinsdale Community Education offers Early Learning programming.

Real lives. Real impact. Right here.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

Classes are designed to strengthen families and support children's healthy growth and development. We provide services, classes and support for families with children from birth through pre-kindergarten. Licensed teachers work to support parents and partner with them to help young children develop their physical, linguistic, cognitive and social potential.

ECFE will help you learn more about positive guidance, eating and sleeping habits, your child's development and other aspects of your relationship with your child. Visit the ECFE page to learn more.

Early Childhood Special Education

Early Childhood Special Education provides opportunities for growth and support for children and their families. Any child between birth and five years of age with a demonstrated developmental delay, and who meets the eligibility criteria in early childhood special education, is eligible to receive services.

If you have concerns about the way your child moves, sees, hears, plays, talks, or behaves, a referral for a free screening can be completed through the Minnesota Help Me Grow program. Find additional information about our ECSE programming on our Early Childhood Special Education page.

Early Childhood Screenings

As families prepare for kindergarten, we provide free early childhood screenings. This simple check will determine how your child is growing, developing and learning. Visit our screening page to learn how to schedule a childhood screening.
