June 20 - 22 :  Non-Newtonian Substances (No Programming on June 19th)

Have you ever heard of viscosity or solubility? How does viscosity affect the way your slime turns out?  Learn the basics of non-Newtonian fluids with oobleck, slime, and making your own jam! Join us for a week of fun and scientific findings as we work through the rules of what it means for a substance to be non-Newtonian by engaging in thoughtful, hands on experiments making Slime and other non-Newtonian substances including chalkboard slime.  Learn how to take exact measurements for slime that comes out perfectly each time, as well as tips and tricks for softer, stretchier, or more stiff slime.

June 26 - 29: Once Upon a Time Week

Step into the pages of your favorite fairy tales and see their world through new eyes as we bring the stories to life through themed crafts and activities! Learn the answers to these stories and even write your own ending with our hands-on activities based on each story.

July 10 - 13: Water Fun! 

Splash into a week of water themed crafts and activities, including creating a 3D fish among other projects. Join us for a week of cool, wet fun and learn some new things in the process. Students will have fun participating in water themed activities including creating a 3D fish, learning about Marbled Paper Making, and constructing a vessel for the Drippin' Dash relay race.

July 17 - June 20: Express yourself!

We'll explore music, art, dance, and drama, and top it off with a talent show at the end of the week. Join us as we celebrate music and all things performing arts as well as some crafts to fit the theme.  Have you ever wanted to create your own tambourine or hand puppet?  Do you have an awesome talent to show your friends? Join us for fun, engaging activities aimed at self expression through creative play and projects. To end the week, please join us for a talent show showcasing all the hard work we've done practicing our talents!

July 24 - 27:  Science Explorers

What makes a good science explorer? How do explorers incorporate the scientific process into their journeys?  Join us for a week of scientific explorations as we learn what makes volcanoes erupt, identify microscopic textures invisible to the eye, and even design your very own invention.  Join us to create your own adventure bag while we learn about observation, curiosity and creativity as we ask questions and make inventions this week.

July 31 - August 3: Cooking Creations

Join us for a week of food-themed science experiments and edible fun. Learn what makes bread rise, how edible slime is made, and more!  Why do you need salt to make ice cream?  What is a leavening agent?  What is a no-bake snack?  Find out the answers to these questions and more during the course of Cooking Creations week.  Youth will learn the basics of breadmaking and how to make homemade ice cream, as well as edible slime.  Impress your friends and family with some fun, kid-friendly no bake snacks.

August 7 - 10: Nature Explorers

Nature is all around us! This week is about connecting with the wildlife in our community.  Spend some time outside getting to know which critters can be found here.  Can you identify the animal tracks we find?  Can you tell what tree a leaf came from just by looking at it? How do bird nests stay together?  If you've ever wondered the answers to these questions, join us for a week of nature exploration & activities.  The week will begin with a geology themed rock hunting and polishing.  Next we will learn how birds make their homes, and even spend time gathering materials to hand-craft our own nests.  The following day will be focused on capturing nature through the lens of a camera, with the end of the week culminating in a Creepy & Crawly creature hunt.  Register now to participate in a week crawling with nature and outdoor fun!
